For those young people who DO have sex before marriage!

Appeal for sex education in the school

Sex education remains a controversial issue in many countries, particularly with regard to the age at which children should start receiving such education.

Sex education is a broad term used to describe education about human sexual anatomy, sexual reproduction, sexual intercourse, and other aspects of human sexual behavior.

Unfortunately, sex education remains a controversial issue in many countries, particularly with regard to the age at which children should start receiving such education, the amount of detail which is revealed, and topics dealing with human sexuality and behavior (eg. safe sex practices and masturbation, and sexual ethics).

Luckily, worldwide we find Individuals as well as Institutions who are making their efforts to introduce sexual education in the schools. Their mission is not always easy and successful.

In Croatia for egsample, the politicians, ministers and the heads of the church and the state are still arguing over whether a The Christian cross should hang in the classrooms Croatia wide. The symbol of the institution which main advice to the young people concerning sex education is: no sex before marriage!. In spite of the fact that the young people DO have sex before marriage and often have major problems because of ignorance and no sexual education!

The Croatian daily papers “24 hours” were revealing shocking story these days: 14 year old girl slept with 100 partners in a month because of the bet with her schoolmates! The whole class made a bet: who will have more sex within one month! After the case was revealed, the girl was sent to the clinic for observation. We do not know what happened with the rest of the class, also young people of 14 years of age, who were involved with this salty game.

Zoya AmirinSuch catastrophes are happening in many countries throughout the world, especially there with strong religious influence, like Indonesia.
Indonesia with a population of 230 million, Zoya Amirin is believed to be the Indonesia’s lone qualified sexual psychologist, working to make Indonesians more open-minded about sex and to help prevent the more than two million abortions a year.

The braveness of this woman and her feeling of responsibility towards mankind, reminds of the story by Hans Christian Andersen (a Danish author, fairy tale writer, and poet noted for his children's stories.) "The Emperor's New Clothes". Someone has to tell to the people that the Emperor isn’t wearing anything at all! – meaning that someone has to say that there are young people who DO have sex before marriage (in spite of the advices of the church) and that someone has to provide them with sex education and help them avoid problems or catastrophes concerning their sexuality.

In some other parts of the world, there are far more advanced steps towards sex education:

Welcome to Aisos! (Austrian International School of Sex)
The world’s first school of practical sex.

You have trained your mind, your muscles, your fitness, but how much have you spent developing your skills at what really matters... love?

- Ylva Marie Thompson headmistress of Aisos.
The courses include both history and modern sexual theory; the emphasis is on how to be a better lover.

Conclusively I would like to emphasize the 9th point of the universal sexual rights:
The right to sexual information based upon scientific inquiry.
This right implies that sexual information should be generated through the process of unencumbered and yet scientifically ethical inquiry, and disseminated in appropriate ways at all societal levels.

You have trained your mind, your muscles, your fitness, but how much have you spent developing your skills at what really matters... love?"

This is great! At last someone is writing about the necesity for a love-erotic education in the schools!
I can just tell you that I would have lived much happier life if such education has been available in my school days. And not just happier life, but also much healthier life, and would have prevented many days of suffering and pain made through ignorance to myself and many others...
This is great what you guys are doing! Keep up the good work!
